THE OYSTERCATCHER – Rhosneigr - ANGLESEY

Anglesey Bollard Ltd. are pleased to have supplied R L Davies & Son Ltd of Colwyn Bay, the main contractor, the oak bollards for the front of their prestigious project for The Timpson Foundation.

The centre of culinary excellence has been set up to help young people from Anglesey make a start to their careers in the catering industry. Inspired by Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen project the restaurant is open to the general public.

The bollards supplied come from a large range of timber bollards and other street furniture that is manufactured and supplied by Anglesey Bollard Ltd.

ANGLESEY COASTAL FOOTPATH – Various locations on Anglesey

The Wales Coast Path officially opened on Saturday May 3rd. 2012.

Anglesey County Council chose Anglesey Bollard Ltd to manufacture some new Fingerposts for certain sections of their coastal footpath.

These were manufactured in Endura-Cast™  to give added protection from the salt atmosphere and inclement weather that they would have to suffer. Extra finger arms were also produced to fix onto existing finger posts to direct walkers safely around the 120 miles of coastal path that circumnavigates the island. Where possible colours of the existing
street furniture were matched.

HARBOUR CAR PARK – Looe Harbour in Cornwall.

Looe Harbour Commissioners selected Anglesey Bollard Ltd to supply their “Manchester” bollard to protect the pavement from ingress of vehicles on the harbour side. The Endura-Cast™  Manchester had all internal steels fully galvanized for extra protection against the salt water atmosphere. Claire Kelly from the Harbour office, who oversaw the project, is extremely pleased with the end result and the service provided by Anglesey Bollard Ltd.

SCHOOL CAR PARK - Penrhosgarnedd in Bangor

Mulcair Ltd of Caernarfon chose an Endura-Cast™ bollard to partition of the parking spaces in this new school car park in Bangor. The installation of these bollards was undertaken by North Wales Fencing Ltd. Gwyn Jones – Director of Mulcair Ltd is extremely pleased with the quality and appearance of this particular “Garnedd” bollard by Anglesey Bollard Ltd.

NAPIER CAR PARKS Ltd. – Rhyl car park

Anglesey Bollard Ltd. recently supplied its Endura-Cast™ bollards to Napier Car Parks Ltd. of Guildford for the protection of the “Pay and Display” machines and the gated entrance of one of their lastest refurbished car park in Rhyl.

Anglesey Bollard Ltd. supplied their Endura-Cast™ “Ashleigh” bollard in anti-ram specification for this particular site in Napier’s corporate blue livery. Installation was carried out by Napier’s own contractor.

NORTH WALES FENCING Ltd. – Car Park.

North Wales Fencing Ltd. recently created a brand new car park for one of their prestigious clients. They choose Anglesey Bollard Ltd. to supply the specified galvanized steel bollards in the clients corporate colours.

Huw Clinton Jones, NWF’s Contracts Manager was pleased with the quality finish and speed of delivery enabling them to complete the project within the time constraints necessary.

MOLD to FLINT CYCLEWAY.

Anglesey Bollard Ltd. was chosen by FLINTSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL to protect its Mold to Flint cycleway from unwanted “verge parking” by numerous vehicles. Les Knuppel – senior Highways Engineer with Flintshire CC is extremely pleased with the result of using heavy duty recycled plastic bollards supplied by Anglesey Bollard Ltd. to cure this serious problem leaving the cycleway clear for cyclists.

The project carried out and the bollards installed by A.Parry Construction Ltd. of Bodfari. Adrian Parry (Director) was impressed with the service and speed of delivery promised and carried out by Anglesey Bollard Ltd.
